Post subject:  Brian Billick Interview

I couldn't get enough of the Brian Billick interview, but it sure did seem like Mac was very careful when asking BB certain questions. I really want to believe that he wasn't just on to plug his book. To Billick's credit, he really didn't push the book or anything. Spiegel apparently was given the duty of mentioning the book. I loved the uncomfortable, yet funny moment when Billick said since he is part of the media now that he didn't want to say anything stupid...like the media.

BB didn't come off too smug or arrogant as one would think, but I'd still like to hear him come on sometime when he ISN'T plugging a book. Mac asked some good questions and BB was very willing to answer, but I wanted to hear more. Would've liked to hear what he thought about the social networking problem in pro sports these days.

I think the one thing Brian Billick doesn't want to hear is the time he was a contestant on Gene Rayburn's "Match Game", circa 1977. Other than that, I think it's safe to say Mac would rather hear Billick & Thom Brennaman call Bears/Seahawks Sunday instead of Dick "Ball Four...Strike Three!" Stockton & Charles Davis on FOX Sports HD come 3:05p. Sorry, folks...I can't get enough of that Stockton soundbite!

I think I'm one of the rare ones that actually like Dick Stockton doing a game, as long as it's football. Baseball, not so much. But that bite sure is a priceless gem.

Eaglo, I heard it with my own ears and saw it with my own eyes. I don't know if Dick's necessarily to blame as much as it was the delayed third strike call by the home plate umpire that Saturday afternoon...

The BB World book plugging tour.

Was it the same or did S&W have different questions?

BB is an Asshat or Assclown, i can't decide which. The offensive genius couldn't do squat with the Offense when he was a Head Coach.

I am glad Mac has love for him, i sure don't

different questions until it got to the book, then BB's answers were verbatim.
