Last I checked, NW Indiana is in a whole 'nother state.

Just say f*cking no the f*cking Olympics f*cking up this town.

If anyone really wants to live in an Olympic city, here's a list of U.S. cities that have hosted the Olympics:

St Louis

Atlanta

Los Angeles

Move to one of those sh*tholes and then report back in 6 years.

James Degorski along with the Fenger High School Beat Down team are on a plane for Copenhagen right now to help secure the bid.

Wrong Section.

I know it probably isn't but at least give some background on what the fuck you are talking about. I don't have a single person on my ignore list, but I am very close to adding you because of the daily Mac blowjobs with no content.

I like Bernstein's idea: send Ronny Woo-Woo, Rod Blagojevich's hair and that cop who beat up that bartender over to make the pitch for Chicago.

You should try listening to the Danny Mac show. It's a good show sometimes.

They should put it up for a vote, a county-wide vote. Cook County has the highest sales tax in the country already and sky-rocketing property taxes with declining services. Chicago hosting the Olympics will drive taxes in Cook County even higher.

I got nothing wrong with Mac, but it just seems like you're having a private conversation with Mac in every post you make. Why not give some background so more than his 5 listeners will know what you are talking about and others can chime in.

I assume people posting in the 'The Danny Mac Show' section have heard the show once or twice. And if you've listened at all of late to 'The Danny Mac Show', the show this section is about...?

Yes, but your original post didn't even mention Mac's name. I assumed it was about him since you do this pretty much everyday. I was just making an observation. How was I supposed to know you weren't talking about Meatpants, or Jurko, or Kerry Sayers, or Mike North, or Shark?

Chicago getting the Olympics been a regular topic on the show for a month or more now.

Every day? I don't even post every day, much less to the Danny Mac Show. I've posted maybe 2 or 3 Danny Mac specific posts in the last month (ratings, drugs and now the Olympics). Apparently they were good ones cuz they sure left an impression on you. Image

I mostly have posted about Bears football over the last month cuz it's football season, w00t!

Chill, you're seeing things that aren't there. Image

If you're not having fun, what's the point, y0.

Oh yeah, and I posted recently about Danny Mac's fascination with Milton Berle's cock, which, like 99% of my posts (except this thread),was posted in a thread someone else started about such things.

How could I--or anyone--forget Milton Berle's cock.

Thats Uncle Miltys Wang for regualr B&B listeners!

Getting the Olympics is going to be a BOOM for Chicago, but like anything else, after the BOOM comes the fall.
Year 8 will be the real tell tale of this one.
I figure I can rent my palce to stinky europeans for $7,000 for the month, take $2500 rent a house in Wisc for the month and the $500 for the post euro cleaning.

Cubs and Sox games will be fun to go to that summer!

Ran across a leaked copy of the video portion of Madrid's upcoming presentation to the IOC:

Heard Rio attempted to submit the same video but was accused of cheating by the Spaniards, while the Japanese intend to screen a multi sub-titled version of 'The Day After Tomorrow'.

I agree with you west side. I am hoping that when the host city for 2016 is announced tomorrow it is not Chicago.

We don't need the Olympics to bring any Boom to the city. We already have enough Boom's when the gun gets shot and another of our city's youth gets murdered. Our priorities are so screwed up in this city.

If you play for the Cubs or the Sox at least you will miss the whole thing as they will be out of town for the entire time just as the Braves were out of town in 1996 when the Olympics were in Atlanta.

Would it change your opinion if Bryan Adams performed at the opening ceremony?

When I saw you just responded to him I honestly thought you were going to go in a different direction.

Edit: Nevermind Rick took care of that for you.

Don't worry, he may get his chance in February when the 2010 Winter Olympics are
held in Whistler, BC, Canada. :eye:

I'm not in favor of the bid either, but in fairness regarding "non-Chicagoans'"...
Amidst talk of how much the Olympics will cost the city of Chicago, neighboring cities and states are trying to find ways to make money off of the second city’s opportunity. Certain areas out of state have already been picked to host certain events should the 2016 games come to Chicago. Madison, WI has been tapped to host mountain biking and cycling events, while Old Mill Creek, IL would host the equestrian events. Now, these out of state locations are looking to make money from housing athletes, tourists, and trainers.

Since when has Old Mill Creek, ILLINOIS become "out of state?"
