Tribune has a story on Tributosaurus - the band fronted by Matt "Meatpants" Spiegel. You can see Matt's band in all its glory on Wednesday night at Martyrs' (3855 N. Lincoln, Chicago, just down the street from Dead Wax Records, 3819 N. Lincoln).

Garo,

While you are browsing through the newspaper, can you read my horoscope?

Also, are there any good sales on lamb shanks?

Caught a "Bigmouth Strikes Again" open at 11 a.m. today and almost cried tears of joy. Not every day the Smiths and sports talk radio cross paths.

Yep. "Bigman...(Yep)...walkin' in the park"

My band is doing a cover of that song with (as for now) me singing and playing drums. One of my favorite Beatles songs. It's about the only thing worth listening to on Yellow Submarine.

yeah, Yellow Submarine suffered from George Martin's overindulgence....

So far, I think the best parody song was played today "Hiestand, what is your job?" (I think) to REM's "Stand". This one had me Ling OL. Thumbs up Spiegs and crew!!! :thumright:

Nice to hear "Fight" just now -- a hidden gem on an otherwise so-so Stones album (Dirty Work)
