Earlier Spiegel brought up the idea of having Carl from ATHF on the show. I love the idea. His stone cold lock of the century of week on the SVP show was gold Jerry, gold. If you're not familiar with Carl's observations on sports please do yourself a favor and google it. His thoughts on the BCS are spot on, while the sports themed episodes of ATHF featuring Bart Oates and John Kruk are some of the funniest things I've ever seen this side of Venture Bros. Carl on the Danny Mac show, please make it happen Matt.

Is Carl still a part of SVP's show?

I don't believe he is. I've searched for a podcast or recording of the segment online and can't come up with anything for this year. Also, I would think if Spiegel brings up the idea behind the scenes, he more than likely has been in contact with him. Just as long as he doesn't bring Handbanana with him or mention him in any way.
