Mac thought he found something special on Saturday as he listened to his son's buddy announce the game on radio.He makes the statement,the Score should hire him. Truth is there are thousands of small college guys who are just as adequate. What made this guy different is Mac's son is his buddy. Some things never change,it's not what u know,it's ,........!

Maybe the score could give him the 9 to 1 slot and finally have a decent show, save a ton of money too!

Is Mac supposed to listen to every college announcer in the country to determine whether the kid is worthy? He's just livin' his life, heard something, and brought it to the 20 hours of programming he has each week to fill. I thought the kid sounded decent too. Maybe they should hire him.

And, if there's anything that is absolutely true, it's that it absolutely is who you know or where you're from 80% of the time or better.

Yes,he did sound good but he should be given a job at a major Chicago radio station? Why,because Mac said so? If Mac is going to pull a "Jen-Jen",at least get the sex right!

I figured Mac was essentially joking but he's talking unpaid intern positions, isn't he?

It just seemed like nothing to get in a twist over. I think your energy should go more toward your new and much-deserved role as Cubs Ricketts Family Spokesperson.

I think it was in the Noon-1pm hour.

Actually, I thought it was kind of funny when Meatpants said the kid's voice quality seems like it would know how he (Spiegel) would like his coffee.
