If that is true, then you have some great news for Mac, and the Score in general. Conclusion: That without any extra Sox listeners, they smashed MVP in (QUE) cumulative, as well as show by show listeners. About a third of this month is unrated, so Mac and Meat will have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah if what you say is true. Mully and his giddy aunt will be caroling in Daley Plaza with Hanley, and Terry and Dan will still find something to complain about. |

Yeah BF, where are all of the S & W apologists?? Mac has had a track record of having his show evolve and overtake the competition. I had said previously that their show would hit its stride during football season and overtake S & W. |

Can someone explain to me how WBBM is near the top of the ratings consistently every ratings period? I'll listen once in awhile to get a quick traffic update or whatever. But do people really listen to it for extended periods of time? |

W&S keep me entertained since i can't really listen to the other one. They are a little espny but far from terrible. I've always liked Silvy except for when he was with Marriotti. They have/do good interviews too. |

Here is what Larz said about the most recent radio ratings for WSCR & WMVP: "As you can see, it really is a back & forth fight, with no clear winner. If this were a boxing match, WSCR would probably be declared the winner by a very slim margin, both both boxers are basically punching each other into a tie right now. WSCR does better in the mornings finally, while WMVP does much better in late nights & weekends. WSCR does better with an older crowd, while WMVP appeals to a slightly younger crowd. Both can claim they are #1 in some area. Neither are completely #1 overall in all areas". |

I would say that Les will grow an audience and a following again, whatever the ovenights are, I can't believe he will eventually win this one, but always heard that never mattered? Weekends? Who has real shows on the weekends, aren't they mostly all games? And I would ESPN would have better games as they the best national TV games? What does Larz do that so many of you take what he says as Gospel? |
