Interesting angle.

Little nervous handing the reins over to another guy with no head coaching experience, but seems to have done good work.

Been on that bandwagon for 3 years!

Heimerdinger, Shanahan's roomie at EIU back in the day. Very similar thoughts on O Line play and running the ball. Which is something the Broncos did with no name OL guys.

Met Heimerdinger 2 year ago at a Cubs game (Button 48 plays here), but thats the kind of big bonuses you get when you are friends with the EIU Alumni guy!

For such a no name little school that never gets any pub, they have quite an NFL impact! Romo, Peyton, Heimerdinger, Shanahan.

I'm not vehemently opposed to that but don't know much about him. I haven't completely given up on Shanahan either though. Bears need a defense and I'd like a well rounded team for a change so I'm not sure how they'd work out.

I still want Cowher.

I think they are focusing on Cowher. If not him then I'm back on the Shanahan bandwagon.

I don't get the too much respect for lovie thing. That sounds like bull.
