Der Spiegel and friends singing "I fought the law" last night at House of Blues at the Len & Bob Bash. Len has a pretty decent singing voice. It looked to me as if Len Kasper has a future in rock & roll if the Cubs' PBP gig doesn't work out...He & Bob Brenly not only call a good ballgame, but their thing for rock turned into a WGN promo last year... |

Matt Spiegel: Dude...heard about the crap I've been getting on that. I was trying to activate the camera on my phone to take a picture of Len and Bob. My battery was low, and the camera didn't launch. True story. Just as cheesy that I wanted to take a pic of the moment? Not to me...but maybe. Yipes  I realize that L&B don't claim to be accomplished musicians, but I hope this was a lowlight in the set. Len doesn't know what to do with his hands when he's not singing, and is Brenly actually playing? Everyone on that stage looked uncomfortable. |
