Just saw Gaines Adams died last night which can't be good news for Jerry Angleo and Mac's hopes of a house cleaning inches closer. A#2 pick to Tampa for a guy who is now dead???

He's gonna try to resurrect the career of Fred Lane.

Do you honestly think Mac's going to celebrate the death of a 20-something year old kid; just because it would help Angelo lose his job?

Pretty pathetic, if you ask me.

Sure DUMBASS that's what he going to do ..... He will take Jerry to task for giving up a #2 pick for a guy who had been physically out of shape and had appearent health issues which the Bears failed to catch when trading for him. He died of an enlarged heart , which by the way doesn't happen overnight . Im sure Jerry had no Idea Chris Williams had a bad back when he drafted him but once again the Bears have nothing to show in this years draft as their GM fails time after time but yet keeps his job.

Love the callers giving their take on how Gaines died. Things will come out and the finger will pointed at the Bears for giving up a #2 pick for the guy . I did find it odd Tampa was looking to get rid of the guy as they seemed to know something the Bears didn't.

Thank you Jim Miller !! Saying on Mac's show the same thing I was saying as it falls to the Bears to have given this kid a Phyiscal and Jerry Angelo should of have done his due diligence on making sure this kid was a healthy football player before he came to the Bears . This will be the second time the Bears and Jerry failed to do their homework on getting players as our #1 pick Chris Williams sat out a year due to a back problem Jerry failed to find out about .

This again is our GM's lack of having a fucking clue once again .

Ive heard several opinions that this is the kind of thing that can go undiagnosed until its too late.

I think the only way to diagnose it is with an MRI and/or a chest Xray. If thats the case, those should probably be done as standard exams every year then.

Going back to checking the wrong box on the free agent offer in his first year, there are too many instances of simple things getting by Angelo. This leads me to believe that the complex things also get by him and that is why we end up with a draft of Bazuin, Wolfe and Okwo.

But at least we will get to hear Zach Z. hype up all of the dregs that were drafted like he does every year during training camp. Zachs' puff pieces during camp make it seem like the Bears talent level is that of a Super Bowl champion team.

X-ray, yes. MRI? Not so much. Those things are an ordeal.

Miller should stick to armchair QBing; not armchair MDing.

Will Bears fans really notice any change in his production (sacks/tackles) in the coming season, as opposed to this season past???
