I listened to B&B go on and on about Beckham all yesterday afternoon. Just flipped on the Mac Show and it's still All Gordon Beckham radio.

Can you just trade the guy already?

But, perhaps he should call it quits in baseball and cure cancer while he's solving the problems of world hunger.

No the proper comparison would be Prior. Sox fans would be killing Cub fans for the hall of fame projection of a guy who played less than one season.

So Roger, you're telling me that if there was talk of trading Prior in 2003 (or in the offseason of '03 into '04), Cub fans wouldn't have been up in arms?
