While I don't share the "grow up" opinion as far as comic books go, I agree that its probably something that you shouldn't be spending time on during a show on sports talk radio.

More talking about comics is less time spent talking about wrestling.

I say be who you are. Don't be swayed because other people don't care for something or think it's childish. If you enjoy something, do it or be a part of it.

I like Don's Piracy's policy.

If you've enjoyed a movie in the past 5-10 years chances are you like comic books.

Did you like 300? Comic book.
Are you planning to see Kick Ass? Comic book.
Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man? Obviously a comic books.
Ameican Splendor, Ghost World, Sin City...all comic books.

Comic books make billions of dollars annually for hollywood, I'd venture to say its not just geeks and nerds buying all those tickets and DVDs.

:x American Splendor is the best of these movies, IMO. Dark Knight was pretty fuckin' awesome if ya ask me.

For the record, I'm not a comic book guy. I'm more of a Star Wars and sports collecting dork. :eye:

This is WSCR's stratergy to survive the coming NFL/NBA lockouts by broadening the topics discussed on the station.
Look for World of Warcraft weekly to debut soon.

If you left a comic book in the bathroom, I would read it. I would look forward to picking up where I left off and seeing what would happen next. Other than that, I don't know anyone who has the time to go to a comic book store, then go read them?

I did the same. All my comics are from the late 80's till about 93 or 94. But if I were still into them I would admit it. I'm quite shameless
