In the spirit of ALS/anti-ALS fighting...

How many licks does it take to get to the center of Mac's asshole?

Awesome thread title, you do know that you can go back and edit things, right?

Or do you not see the problem?

And, yes, seems to me that message board members posting their thoughts/feelings about the subject of a given forum MAKES A LOT OF SENSE.

I think the point of this thread was the repeating of the same things over and over. I am guilty of this....I have stated my opinion of what McNeil has become and I will let it be.

I admit that I do not read every thread posted here ... but isn't complaining about the repetitive nature of some topics pointless if:

1) It only adds MORE threads
2) The SEARCH feature here doesn't really work
3) There is little-no moderation done .. so if the moderators/admin don't care about repetitive topics enough to MERGE them, why should the junior deputy wannabe mods be SO concerned about them?

I LOVE this comment. The same people who want to bitch about the type(s) of posts or multiple threads or whatever...are probably the same ones who use mults or start thread after thread about who is who and who is which mult, etc...

I absorb from the board what I want & ignore the rest. It's a beautiful thing.

I don't know about you there STU, but from here on out I am going to make it a daily point to start long winded threads about things I don't listen to/watch, why they suck, and whats wrong with them.

The difference there is that I'll watch parts of Cubs games, and I'll hear about them on various sports talk shows.

Gloopan, Seward, SID etc. claim they don't listen to Mac, but have plenty of thoughts on what makes this show bad.

Francis, I guess that I find this to be pretty strange - you profess your undying hatred of all things Cub, probably have no less than 10,000 posts that are in threads devoted to the Cub (although a vast majority are nothing but sophomoric, petty taunts), and now you are saying that you even watch the games?? You're a closet Cubs fan, and you cover up your angst for the team with your thinly-veiled, brutish comments desperately trying to convince us otherwise

I enjoy watching baseball. I'm sure there are some Cubs fans too that even watch the Sox from time to time.

Nah, you're obsessed with the Cub, Frank, as evidenced by all of your attention that this franchise garners. Now I'm convinced that, underneath all the dumb comments with which you try to throw us off your scent, that you truly bleed cubbie blue. It's okay, you love 'em, but we won't tell anyone

Frank is to the Cubs as bigfan is to the Sox.

Some people need to bash the other side of town to validate their team. It's just the way it is....for some reason....

I never claimed to NOT listen to the show - I listened to it, quite a bit, early on and thought it was bad (but knew it might take time). I then listened in occasionally, like maybe once per week just to see what it sounded like. Eventually I just bailed on it completely, and recently came back to hear what it sounds like. I'd says in the last few weeks I've tuned in once every couple of days and gave it a listen.

I realize that a guy coming in here and posting things, who is NOT part of the usual suspects, REALLY sets some people off ... but, good Lord, for as much bitching and wannabe-moderating and judging as some of you do, I would think you might take a look at your 20,000 posts that only comment on the nature of others comments and realize how lame that is.

I get it, some people have been here a long time so they get a license to crap on things and move on. At some point I would think it would become tiresome running around this board making sure to crap on other people's supremely crappy and useless posts/threads. Or not.

And, STU, that's a good (albeit lame an untrue) angle to take on crappy typing. You do it to piss people off. Solid.

Your junior high level insults might come across better if you could type them at more than a junior high level.

FAIL

Edit: Jesus Christ, it took me three tries to clean up the hack job you did on the quote function...

Well douchebag, there will be a whole host of posters who will come in and tell whomever STU is arguing with (I ain't botherin to read to find out) that STU is running circles around him and STU is making them look stupid and silly.
