That was great. Mully and Hanley gave it to Mac and Spiegs for their Beckham interview. They said he's a professional athlete and doesn't need the 'win one for the gipper routine' from a couple guys on the radio. Not sure who Spiegs thinks he is but just because you have a baseball show doesn't mean you can give a PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PLAYER HITTING ADVICE. And reading him stats from your buddies website was just embarrassing.

When? I would love to review this material in-depth via podcast.

I dont get to listen to Danny Mac often.

But on a recent week off I listened. I think I heard Meatpants do it then with Beckham too. He gave him some tip like "just drive your hands thru the zone"

Just click on the box up top that says "Shows" and than click on the small podcast button on the following page.

It wasn't "all that". M&H certainly did take a shot at Speigs and Co. I don't get the point of M&H saying "that's not what we do here", who gives a shit, worry about your own show, worry about actually making funny jokes and not stuttering so much.

So I'm a Mac ALSer, and I like Speigs for the most part too. But after podcasting this, I am blown away. I can not believe Meatpants ACTUALLY did this. This goes down as one of the silliest things I have ever heard on a radio show. Is he serious? Giving Beckham hitting advice? I can't believe it... I really can't. I tuned in to the podcast half-expecting this to be a little blown out of proportion, but it really isn't. Not one bit. This was completely absurd. Just thinking about this makes me feel really icky.


This is one of those things I won't ever forget.
