He's not listed in the show notes and didn't hear anything from or about him scanning the podcast quickly. Usually his interviews get their own post on the danny mac podcast blog.  If Beckham's back in the minors in July, will the winner of the contest to get a picture and first pitch or whatever with Beckham get Omar Vizquel instead? |

YES, Bacon called in today. Muttered the same crap about wanting to do better. Dummy sidekick MEATPANTS chimed in and suggested that he would go to the parking lot across the street from THE CELL and dig up some old COMISKEY dirt. It's really funny because Peavy said that he and the Sox are a bunch of dirtbags. So the dummy sitting sidecar to McNeil challenged BACON, saying he would go find some dirt. Awful interview, per usual. |

I always think the guys they plan on having regular conversations with, they should go hang out with the guy for a night, trying to avoid the totally uncomfortable jokes. |

Mac's mentioned before that athletes are not a very good interview and Beckam is just that..BAD and a bad interview. Even if the Sox were above 500 and Beckham was htting his weight I'd find him boring. Have Doc Emrick weekly even after the hockey season as he's entertaining. Sophomore slump personified. |
