10 to 1 that the guy who "listens to the Score everyday from 9-6" is either Gloopan or SID.

It wasn't meant to be funny, but I suppose it is. It would not surprise me at all if its true though.

After the question that the neighbor asked was revealed, I doubt it.

I could be wrong here, but I am going to say I might have been partly responsible for the Myth!

At one of the MJH tailgates, I knocked down 5 brats! I honestly said they were the best brats I ever had. I am a barbq/grilling snob and when I get a great product, I am looking for info! and it was a great product!

I asked Mac what he did to them if anything, or if he bought them like that, and he started telling me , and anyone else in the audio area, that it was a process of par cooking them, and then placing them in a bath of 4 or 5 mustards, with some onion and garlic.

While Mac did the pre cooking probably to save on prep time at the tailgate, the fact is if you cook any item and place it in a bath of mustard, or marinade, as that item cools down, it will absorb the flavors it sits in. Thus created a fabulous brat, intentional or not.

Thus the legend of the 4 mustard brat, combined with Mac's love of the flame grill, came the MUSTARD BELT!

The "MUSTARD BELT" may conotate a lack of other grilling skill and thus the need for the mustard to mask the pure flavors of the grill! Thus it may be considered a knock on skills!

Of course I could be wrong :D :D :D :D

I'll be very disappointed if the legendary "Three-Mustard Brats" were just a byproduct of free beer and bigfan's unchecked and voracious appetite.

Looks like we're losing a mustard with every post! Pretty soon Mac will just need a clip rather than an entire belt.

Pretty sure it was a 4 Mustard Brat!

Think I had 2 in the buns during the main eating, but then post regular dining and drinking, a few of them kept saying 'eat me, eat me' so I went bunless in between Jack and Diet drinks, on my 3rd.

Then Mac put some peer pressure on me as he has some hot coals still going and he said to toss a cold one on, so I did.

Then as I was leaving, one of the brats grabbed me and forced me to knock it down!

Tomorrow I shall be revieing some Smoked Cajun brats, I am anticipating some good stuff!

It took me some time to learn this JORR. It is folly to question the written word of the Original ISOP Member. If it is typed it is so.

Just as many times you make something that turns out great, the single A chef might not have grear records.

I stand by the 4 musatrd statement, regardless of the 3 mustard posting

Mac even had the recipe for the Mustard Brat meal on his old job's website, 1000.

I think he cooks the Brauts, then wrap the Brauts, onions, and 3 or 4 mustards in alumnium foil, then just heat them up on the grill when you are ready to eat.

I have tried it, probably not as good as Mac's, I cooked the brauts, throw them in a crockpot with onions and mustards, and turn on the crockpot on the day of eating.

Just so everyone knows, the actual Mustard Belt is what you get when you win the Nathans Hot Dog Eating Championship

Mac, as many times as the hot Kingsfords have been mentioned on 670am midday radio, you sir are indeed the King of The Mustard Province. I saw those brats at the First Annual Danny Mac Show tailgate, and the mustard survived the cooking?? Who does that, Buzz Bait Brian??

If your wanting to secede the throne and dissassociate yourself with Mustarddom, I'll show up at the tailgate with a REAL Mustard Utility Belt, and serve the commoners to much delight. In seceding mayorship to me, you'll have to cut off the sleeves on my beloved Hawks jersey. What says class and victors of Lord Stanleys Cup more than a Hawks sweater/wifebeater. GO SOX!!!!!
