Interesting that he responds to all this rudeness and crudeness by making fun of the woman's looks and weight. Of course, that's always been a staple of the Danny Mac humor mill. And, for the record, I've witnessed almost the EXACT same restroom scene he describes in our own fine United Center facilities with St.Louis Blues fans being the victims. Criticizing an entire city based on a few fans' behavior at a very intense sporting event is cheap and lazy journalism. I've been in many sports venues around the country and on any given night, Chicago can rank right up there as far as less-than-kind behavior to visiting fans. |

Over 150 comments to his column. 95% calling him a pussy, a talentless hack, a coward, my favorite-"an inbred hillbilly" and more. I must say I can't disagree with many of the comments. I am surprised that the Mac ALS'ers haven't been on there defending their hero yet. Go for it guys, you know who you are. Right Doug?

Defending him from what? He wrote an opinionated, yet observational column and people from Philly responded. Big whoop.  I'd only go to Philadelphia if I were offered Eagles tix, that's it. I have no desire to visit there and no connection except for my misguided Eagles love. |
