It seemed like they were going to great lengths to speak to non-white fans. I saw the same black lady on WGN and ABC7 this morning...

They had a shot to do a good show and have completely blown it. Between the song parodies, Piggy's drooling, Mac's pants pissing and the ridiculous descriptions they almost ruin the Hawks winning the Stanley Cup. Don't worry I've already P'd The Fing B. |

Worst show I've heard in a long time. The show almost had less to do with the Blackhawks than it did with Matthew constantly checking in on, and fawning over, Daniel's emotions. Whether or not this has really sunked in for Daniel. How great his article about his history with the Blackhawks, and being a fan, was. How this is the most important sports moment in Daniel's life. I've never heard anything quite like it. Luckily, for me, WSCR was unlistenable so I was forced to go elsewhere. If it hadn't had been for them driving me away with their parody marathon, it's all about me and how I'm feeling, and just random babbling I would not have ended up on WGN TV where Dan Roan informed me that Patrick Kane hoisting the cup up for the crowd was really the 'money shot'. I also got to hear the always smug, smarmy and snarky Markus Suppelsa explain that it was great the Cup celebration was being held here, in Chicago, and not in Europe or Canada. All I do is hate, but this was especially bad radio. Here's to hoping that Daniel calls in Ed Sherman or Teddy Greenstein to fill-in while he's out, that provides wonderful fuel to the afternoon's show fire. And, Matthew, stop talking about your bad band(s). We would be laughing our collective asses of if we caught wind that some other city's popular sports talk station's host was moonlighting as a karaoke singer. And proudly talking about it on his flame thrower of a radio station. Truly awful radio, maybe this show will be the one moment these two yammering dolts remember about the '10 Stanley Cup? |

Was listening on the radio the best option for many? OK, if you are in the car, yeah and what station did you tune into that gave the better "play by Play? |

I tuned in for the about 15 seconds, heard Spiegs make 'joking' references to the Kennedy assasination and I immediately PTFB. |
