Thanks to the Score and DannyMac show for this shindig. Everybody who brought food, the beers, the smoking section(some more than others). It was my first go round with the millerlite pint aluminum bottle, most of the product held up under the conditions very well. Then switched to Fat Tire cans provided by spanky, who knew I'm enough of a rube(and/or drunk) to belive anything he said, and told me the Terrell owens looking fella was good dolphin. So of course as I go up to him to introduce myself, the actual g.d. walks by as he is heading to his seats and begrudgingly reveals his identity one last time. Good guys, both of them, not spanky though.
Anyways take this from the top, my guy brian lives on 31st. and we walked over to the park at 3 to avoid showing up on time.
The spread was on the grassy knoll behind the concrete party pads. Plenty of tables, tents, and trees for shade and relief since it was clearly too hot of a day for a NASCAR jacket.(even kyle busch himself would have the common sense to mix in a graphic tee on a day like Saturday, no matter the sponsorship) There was plenty of cold miller products, and lots of people had their own stuff they brought to drink too. Got to see mitch rosen again, glad to see he got his new hair in and on time, after pulling it out all week from the move to the new studios. Looking good! of course my guy brians eyes go red when seeing DannyMac wearing a Benson jersey, as he hates him as a person and a football player. so mac gives it up that is a goof wearing his jersey and training camp is 35 days out. it's all good. Also fun to catch up with everybody and see the stong board support. doug-ep, hoffy and r.n.mommy, spaulding, camps, bagels, r.p.bryan, OKC, SlapShotEd, spanky and mrs. spanky, eaglo jeff, frank constanza, and ASF Bob aka E.F. Hutton.
I told spaulding on tuesday I'd give her a ride and when she didn't respond by Friday night, she was on her own. Thus proving once again shes all cool and shit, but still a chick by nature. So when I get to the tailgate, she's there and I feel like a jerk cause she figured out sat. morning she needed a ride and was trying to get ahold of me, and I offer to give her a ride home. So those of us without tickets and want to still drink rally together and head for the former jimbo's now a CorkAndCarry at 33rd and princeton.
So it's me, spaulding, ASF Bob, Bagels, OKC, and R.P.Bryan special shoutout to those for watching the whole game there at the bar, good times. The drinks were flowing and we all were filled with jokes and stories and an attempted takeover of the jukebox, which was brief, but a kick to piss off the bartender enough to start skipping songs.
By 900, the game is over and the bar starts to hit overflow for postgame drinking, its time to go. ASF Bob was last seen heading thru the park at dusk mumbling something about how lou brock would have been a career bum if he had stayed on the northside. Me and spaulding walk back to my car on 31st. and drive her home, and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Spaulding(he does exist
). Whom was at the train station with the kids an hour earlier waiting for her to get off the 845 from the city. Oops! 1. I didnt hear her phone ring either 2. She wasnt the only one in the car in trouble for not answering their phone. 
Have a beer with them and head back into the city after 1100. Had a good, but very late time, in the city and didn't get back home to Joliet until after 5am. The End.
