I would say the White Sox tailgate was the summer party and should have celeberated there. They took care of people if you weren't a guest for that, I think they said you would get a hot dog and that event was free. Why go to a party where you have to pay, you may get all the food and drinks, but I have read from other posters that there is not a good place to stay and it may be a couple of miles for a good place to stay, so drinking may be limited. Also, I think aren't the drinks and food only from 7-10 and then the band takes over, I imagine most people there would leave about 10 and skip the music.

They should not have used a major announcement for this, but they will still get people and probably make money, so that was the number 1 thing.

I haven't listened to the Afternoon Train Wreck in a long while, but I think with all the shit Teinowitz has taken from McNeil, that this anniversary party and the joke that it has become that Teinowitz would give back a little that he has taken. Anyone heard anything like that or perhaps Teinowitz is on a zero-tolerance probation because of his locker room antics?

They are trying to raise enough cash to get Spiegel in the studio on Sunday and off the prom circuit.

After a week of Matt in the Big boy chair, I will never listen to hit and run or when Dan is out for more than a day.The only bright spot of this week for me was Goff. I enjoyed his time on the stick more than I was expecting. Plus Spiegs' taste in music is atrocious. He hates Rush , big negative for me.Even his supposed strong suit:baseball he is coming up lacking and looking ineffective next to the guys sitting next to him.

Telling everyone that you are very basebally does not equal good analysis. How often do you hear something on Hit and Run like "I thought Santos was going to throw a slider to Billy Butler but he went with a well-located fastball and it made the difference".

We get: "I love the smell of the field and the crack of the bat and that people are on teams. The proof of this is that I"m telling you"
