Two days in a row calling into the show, ES? Nice. Keep those Cub thoughts coming.

Let me know when one is original. Although, I did like how he referred to himself in the 3rd person.

Where was he calling from? That is of utmost importance in this situation. Can't ruin that brand.

He calls Swaddle and the Saloon too. All with the same thoughts, usually in the same day. He just won't call B&B after they dissed the Brand a couple of months ago.

I wonder if he records them on cassette on his jambox and makes a narcissistic compilation? I did back in the 90's for the few times I called some shows.   :geek:

Yeah, what the hell was that about? Rickey swings, Rickey hits a home run. Rickey trots around the bases.

It was about how he couldn't blame Derrek Lee for not wanting to be traded if it was because of his kid.

Or, as it should be called, parroting Mac's same exact thought.

Terry didn't say "Thank you for the call, my friend"?

You know, that whole topic was just invented out of nothing. Where did Derrek Lee say he didn't want to be traded because of his kid?

I believe Dan said Steve in Elmhurst is next on the score and Steve went well actually it's Elmhurst Steve

Are you serious? That's awesome

I'd be shocked if Dan didn't hang up on him

The best part of it was when he tried to correct them by saying, "No, it's Elmhurst Steve, but I'm in Burbank" which Terry responded with "Well, are you in Elmhurst or Burbank?!?"

I'm not sure he ever got his point out, but he probably just called Harry right afterwards and got it out to the crickets listening over there.

Jack Bauer remembers the brand crying that he's not Steve in Elmhurst, he's Elmhurst Steve. Jack Bauer punches the fucking button when he hears the brand on the radio. Besides being a douchebag, his sports "thoughts" are garbage. :puker:

That was pretty low rent cheap sports radio bs for that hour. Completely speculating on one guy's rumor and then judging Lee's made up reasons for refusal. Very bad radio there.

Cubs general manager Jim Hendry confirmed to Bruce Levine of ESPNChicago.com that Derrek Lee will not accept a trade.

According to Levine, the Rangers and Angels have made offers for Lee over the past 10 days, however Lee wants to remain with the Cubs for the remainder of the season. Lee, 34, is in the final year of a five-year contract.

Then Bernstein mockingly said he needed to know Steve's whereabouts at all times. :D

oh, and then the call's point (the Hawks had an advantage in having practiced against the Flyers goaltender 5 years ago) was lame and called out as such.
