Best show in months if you catch my drift.

Can Doug fill in the rest of the year?

Buffone has been so good he's made it seem as though Mac actually gives a crap about sports.

The Beckham segment kinda seems like a letdown after all that. :(

Fine during football season but lest we forget Hampton trying to talk baseball or Buffone on the Rick Telander show talking Bulls or Cubs. Bad.

Seems to keep Mac focused when he doesn't have a "whipping boy". Solid listen.

The fact is, the show has been great today. I loved the Wild Turkey story.

Mac is definitely better the more he respects the guy sitting across from him. The openings have been solid too. Kudos to Miska and Zawaski.

The best show ever was when Doug was screaming at Bernsie around '97 calling him Dictionary Face and upset that Bernsie said the games didn't mean anything 6 weeks into the season.

They need to look in the archive for that, or was it in the open? Didn't hear open.

I guarantee you if the Bears get off to a lousy start when they start the regular season September 12th, Doug & Ed O'Bradovich's "SCORE Bears' Postgame Show" will be can't miss sports talk radio. That said, it was good to hear Uncle Dougie on with Mackey today at Bears' Camp. Two thumbs up! :D :D

I didn't know Doug Buffone was your uncle, SHARK. Have you ever gotten drunk with him?

TM, that's what many Scoreheads call Buffone...Uncle Dougie, Uncle Fuzzy, etc...I've heard "Mully & Hanley" and SCORE Production Director Russ Mitera's cheesy "Big Doug" sounders as well...

Doug and Mac together for a day is pretty good. Anything longer than that would be bad.

I think Doug on a daily basis would be bad. But the guy is awesome with OB or in spot starts.

I agree. In spot moments he can be really good, but if he is paired with someone on a daily basis he is really bad. He is a niche guy.

He is at his best on the Bears post game, that's his niche.

Doug sounded more like a buffoon than a Buffone. If screaming makes you a radio host then give me Wolfman Jack back. Why didn't anyone talk about him wanting the starters to play longer because of the new system? Stupid comment on his part because what if Cutler was the one getting hurt and not Manie?

What If?

What if they suck in Game #1 and say "We need more time to get this down" as they have for years

but they need extended Doug and OB postgame. It seems like they get clipped either by Sunday night football or some zaidmanesque analyst. Give me no less than 4 full hours of Doug and OB. Give me another 4 hours on Friday night. That should be enough

I could listen to Doug everyday year round, but at some point he would talk about politics. Doug is so far to the right he makes me look like a liberal.

For me, listening to Doug and OB is like a dog rolling around in its own feces, especially after a loss. Nothing worse than two old guys yelling and screaming and not making any sense about anything. I could go to a nursing home to hear that shit.
