Goff on the air is always enjoyable. These guys are usually pretty good together, and it will be nice for Goff to not have to talk over OPV.

Spaulding is overrated.

Goff solo or paired with anyone is really good. He's a top 3 host at the station and it's crazy he doesn't have his own regular day spot.

I didn't say in what way. I could've meant she's overrated as a poster.

I still wish they would've given one of this weeks 4 hour shifts to Goff. These two are a very easy listen. I think that speaks more for Goff than Spiegs.

Goff should be in there every day. Light years ahead of LoHo.

Guys, you are preaching to the choir. Unfortunately for Goff & Matt Abbatacola, who is scheduled to host "SCORE Latenight" after the White Sox/Red Sox game Friday night, there's now one guy ahead of those two. According to the 670thescore.com schedule, "Mully & Hanley's" designated update guy Mark Grote starts his new weekend show Saturday 12Noon-3:30p. In fact, why not have Grote & Hub Arkush pinch hit for Mac & Spiegs tomorrow instead of another LoHo airshift?

Why does that mean Grote is "ahead" of them? Goff and Matty have weekend shows too.

That's the impression I'm getting...Also, Mark Grote's NOW a full-time SCORE guy with a new contract...

From who? Grote has never even filled in for a daytime host. Goff is the only one of those 3 that has.

And now we throw in Finfer who does producing and on-air work to. Will be interesting to see how this deck is shuffled.

Johnny, Mark Grote has filled in for Spiegs on his Sunday morning "Hit & Run Show" alongside Seacrest, I mean the Daily Herald's Barry Rozner. You are correct that Grote has not filled in for a host during the week, but he's definitely filled in for the Jenny Jones-looking Kerry Sayers at the update desk from time to time.

Time for Matt Abbatacola to decide if he is OK with being a only producer in the radio business.

yes.. I don't think Abbatacola has a future being a host.
Goff is a different story.

It's also relevant as to whom is matched with whom.

the very first time I heard Goff and Spiegel together, which was a while back as Goff filled in on Mac's last vacation, I thought to myself - these guys are VERY good together. They play off each other naturally and very very well.

at times I feel Spiegel playing off Mac is slightly unnatural, and almost forced, though I do enjoy the pairing.

I made the point on the BB board - I think Goff and Spiegel are the future of the Score. Together.
