Mac has power but he doesn't have the power to bump Larry for Hood. Mitch loves Larry and I read somewhere that Larry is a good teammate. Hood has been around a long time. If Hood wants to leave his limited air time at ESPN for limited air time at the SCORE he could apply on his own. If Mac is bringing over on air talent that would piss off the current back ups at the SCORE. Nobody is discussing this angle. Unless Mac is gonna make his show a 3-man booth, I don't know where the space is to bring in anybody else. I'm thinking this might be an engineer or another producer. Jurko is the best guess if he is making his show a 3-man. |

Then again, why the hell would Mac want to add a 3rd person to his show? It would mean less money for him if they have to split that pie 3 ways. I think Mac loves JD, but the SCORE has 4 reporters. (Connor, Shuester, Larry & ZZ) Air time is so limited for their current staff that Larry can only get half hour shows for most of the Sox season. The other subs fight like dogs for weekend scraps. |

If JD is coming it means Mitch realizes ZZ is a train wreck. Mac finally convinced him. They'll move Zach and his conflict of interest to WBBM where he can do his "Everything is great" Bear reports on the 15s and 45s. |

I actually think Zach would welcome the move to WBBM. Do you think he enjoys being ridiculed, mocked and discredited on the air? Of course not. He can go to WBBM and push the Bears agenda without anybody calling him out. At WBBM you just file reports. You don't have hosts poking holes in your bullshit bag. |

The only time 'BBM anchors butt in for any reason is if there's breaking news... |
