More hockey talk is always a good thing but the parody songs need to die.

I think embarrasing is a good way to describe the parody songs. They are so terrible that they actually make me uncomfortable to listen to them. When one comes on I have to change the station.

The biggest difference here is that the songs are too long. On MJH, they were generally like 20-40seconds. That Hossa song drags on for an hour.

Yeah, no kidding. You could almost picture them in the H.S. cafeteria having that conversation.

I'm a Hawks fan so I enjoy every little bit of Hawks talk i get. I thought the interview was ok, MH not electric personality.....but that's ok he's a great player and that's what matters.

The people who do not like Hawk talk now have just a little taste of what i had to deal with during the endless Sox talk this year.......ESPN and Fox Sports saved me during this summer.

While I don't hate the parody songs, it's almost becoming Northesque in regards to them convincing themselves that it's something it's not.

It was a good radio bit that worked really well last year when everyone had Blackhawks fever.

I think there might be a WYC? for Speigel based on today's show. He's been going on about how Mike Martz was "creepily complimentary" to his players yesterday but then he was creepily complimentary, along with slurpy and jock-sniffy, with Hossa.

But I do like the Hossa one....can't get enough of it. The MJH ones were better and funnier for the most part....even with Harry singing some of them. Loved when they had the listeners contribute (D.E.P.'s contribute was gold).

i thought hossa had a pretty good sense of humor with it. he seemed to be kinda touched by the song. seems like a decent guy.

Caught the replay and I didn't think this was as bad as you guys said. Some of you will nit pick anything Mac does. However, I don't think either are very good interviewers and the show has a tendency to meander.

I did like hearing Hossa. He is probably my favorite player but you don't hear much from him.

Spaulding, it isn't that they aren't good interviewers, the fact is neither are very talented and both are very lazy.

The neither are talented is stupid and I think you know that so I won't bother there.

Why do you think they are lazy? I've never gotten that impression. This always sounds sour grapish from you.

As a karate expert, I am not terribly interested in parody songs.
