Probably some Bears and Hawks talk as well.

Plus it's annoying people call in with questions about Fantasy Football day, or as I like to call that segment, "When I go to lunch so I don't have to listen to it".

Zach Zaidman thinks that this is gimmick infringment on the time I go pretend to smoke so I miss the Bears report on B&B

See, when the Bears report comes on, I really do go smoke.

Clicked off as soon as this sorry Fantasy segment started.
mac, do they force you into that segment? Tell them no ma'am.
I don't think I know anyone that digs fantasy talk. Do they?

I remember the Brand talking about his love for Rosie O'Donnell's Fantasy Football Island show on ESPN radio.

I extimate that to be a good post, and guarantees that there will be more, or you get 50% off your next free extimate.

Seems that discussion about this show has dropped dramatically. I wonder if that's reflected in the ratings or if people who don't like Mac finally stopped listening and making new threads about it :-?

I've heard Charchian on other shows, and at least here he doesn't make his really bad jokes.

On other shows, someone will call in and say "Would you start Tony Romo or Donovan McNabb?". He'll answer something like this: I'd go with Tony Romo. McNabb's fantasy value has been falling more than Lindsey Lohan at a party.

I have a feeling that he pays to be on these shows.

Isn't Romo dead?

Tony Romo is as dead as Mel Gibson's chances to speak at a local Jewish center.

Mel Gibson's career is as dead as the 2010 Dallas Cowboys...

It's because message boards are dying and the Mac ALS has moved to facebook

I don't do Fantasy Football, but I still listen to the segment for some reason. I kind of listen more what Charch says about the teams in relation to the players playing for them to make up my mind about Confidence Pools. Although, I do come close to PTFB when there is a barrage of "Should I start A or B, C or D, and E and F?" Most of the time I'm too lazy to PTFB. (intentionally teed up for Gloop and SID)

I think it is more of the fact that the show is boring and fewer people listen.

One good thing about the PPM methodology is it shows us specific quarter-hour breakdowns of listenership. The fantasy segment gets listeners. You may not be one of them.... and I'm not going to say it would be appointment listening for me if I were in my car at 12:05 on a Thursday afternoon... but if there's a demand for something, it's kind of my obligation to serve it up.

If there is a lack of activity here it's because Gloop is lazier than I am. Fall weeklys indicate we're getting listeners. We need to. Silvy's show -- and it IS Silvy's show -- beat us in the summer book and we're out to change that. Hate it when three consecutive ratings books victories are snapped.

+Juan, and for what it's worth, I tend to listen to the rest of the show.
