Let's see if we can be constructive and suggest new bands for Spiegel's band to "become". It seems like they are always doing The Stones, and they've apparently done The Beatles on multiple occassions. I'll start: Dexy's Midnight Runners Toto Asia The 5th Dimension |

They "become". Tonight they're scheduled to "become" one of the most successful rock era bands in the history of Earth. That's right. They're not gonna cover them, golly no. They "become" them. |

I like to see him try to tackle a 15 to 18 song set list of Bob Dylan, but I doubt that would bring throngs of listeners. |

Fine, I'll fix it. I'll even throw in a serious suggestion: The Kinks |

sjboyd0137 wrote: Fine, I'll fix it. Please do. Let's not try to underestimate this band by saying they're simply covering. That's insulting to a bad that literally becomes the Beatles. They're not just a band. Heavens no. This is an "EVENT" by god. Lennon will be on stage tonight. With Paul. Imagine that. He will live again. Because tonight the Beatles take the stage. Not a cover band playing Beatles tunes... but the ACTUAL BEATLES! |

Other than that, I am really not a Beatles fan, so...meh |

spanky wrote: Douchebag wrote: Mama Cass See, I was gonna go there, but there were specific instructions....... Oddly enough, Mama Cass is acceptable. If a statement like "Mama Cass because Spiegs looks like he ate her" was made, that would be against the spirit of this thread. and yes, I know Mama Cass died by choking on a ham sammich |
