RIP Ronnie; too bad it wasn't Ronnie Woo Woo

Also, the debut of the Adam Dunn song:
Adam Dunn: Sox D-H
Sung to the tune of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"

You know the wheels are turning already. Mac has probably called Finji and Spiegs to make it happen tomorrow morning.

Thanks to A7X for this one.

Also, Friday means Who Do You Love, and probably a lot of White Sox discussion now.

Will Speigs make it 5 days in a row?

Will Mac be as excited about Bernstein about Dunn?

Will Kermit in Elmhurst call and piss on the signing?

Tune in tommorow. Same Mac time. Same Mac station.

I don't know. There's still several pieces of Bears minutae to pick over. Gunners on punt coverage....are they good enough? Can Robbie Gould get that extra yard out of his kickoffs? Zach will detail Briggs' showering routine. They have STUFF, people.

8 hours of material to cram in a 4 hour show written on the yellow pad, if you will

Adam Dunn is walking down the street, waving. It's a beautiful scene, people. The love Chicago is showing for this man. Wait....what's happened....he's down, oh my god. Was that a shot? I just saw Keith Hernandez and Roger McDowell running over on that gravelly road. Oh, the humanity!!!

Well, when you crack up at an idea, you run with it (especially because I tend to forget a lot of things).

But for you Doug, I will change it, because, well Les Leg Jokes makes me laugh more.

Hopefully everyone can behave themselves for one day and show a little respect to Ron Santo and his family before we are already wondering about the radio booth and critiquing Ronnie's broadcasting style.

The next 8 hours are going to be great. It is impossible for Mac, Boers, or Bernstein to say anything nice about Santo.

Post subject:  Re: 12/3 Les Santo Impersonations

Its not impossible, its just that will likely stir up calls/texts/emails and thus bring in listeners.

Despite being a joke in the broadcast booth, you cannot deny Santo's passion for the Cubs and how much he was loved by the old time fans. He will be missed and thought about in very high regards no matter what B&B, Mac, or anybody else on the air thinks/says about him.

Hopefully Spaulding will find her way on to your lap at some point today to help ease your sadness.

Why should they? He's dead. Being dead doesn't change the fact that he was a bad broadcaster.
