 Hey man, I'm with the Bears. You think you have it tough? Try
living up here with Meatball Packer fans! My intestinal fortitude is not to be
questioned my friend. :spiderman:

Yeah, I knew you had some family up here. Good for your brother, at least
here in Kenosha there are some Bears fans. Up there he really has to be one
of the few in the heart of Packer country.

My former in-laws used to live in Kenosha- actually it may have been Pleasant Prairie. It's kind of a Bears-Packers battleground where fans are split pretty evenly. There was a bar up there- I can't remember its name- and depending on which team had won the last meeting, the front door to the bar would be painted either orange and blue or green and gold. Well, eventually the bar closed down and the building was demolished so there was just an empty lot where it had previously stood. So I drove past the lot after a Packer victory and someone had taken a door, framed it up about where the old door would have been, and painted it green and gold.

My FIL's family (4 bros) live in Kenosha and are all Bears fans. My MIL's family also lives in Kenosha, and are all Packers fans.

My fingers are just crossed that the women don't suggest we all "get together" to watch the game. I would literally fight every one of them.

Yeah, around here I would guess it is probably a 60/40 split between
Bears and Packer fans overall. Everyone in the office is playing nice
today complimenting each other to getting to the NFC Championship
game. By Thursday things are gonna get a little hairy (by cracky )
around here I have a feeling.

The Bears could win the SuperBowl and DaMaNaaaa would still be full of piss and vinegar about it. It's clear the guy has a personal issue against Cutler and Lovie and it would really be in the public's best interest to ignore anything he has to say about the Bears.

+1, switching to W&S. And to think Mac doesn't understand how letting the Packers get the Forte throw on film could potentially help, makes me scratch my head too.

That needs to be buried. They've won 11, now 12, games. They've beaten the Eagles, Jets, and Packers.

When you start adding things like the Patriots losing as being Lovie's Lucky Horseshoe, it's officially dead.

I doubt if the Bears win the Super Bowl that the big voice NFL Films guy will announce the team's film as -

 My guess is that the Packers are hoping they run that play again.

It's difficult not to get caught up in it. That being said, I'm sure I'll be sick of hearing about football by tomorrow morning.

He stil has a lot to learn BRick...I'm not ready to let go of him referring to the Bears' 10-3 loss to the Pack in Week 17 an "ass whupping".

Okay, maybe it was a stronger choice of words than necessary. The defense did play well in holding them to only 10 points. But again (and I watched the whole game) at no point did the Bears look capable of scoring an offensive touchdown in that game. I was praying for a defensive takeaway for a return or a Hester run-back. That was probably as overmatched as the offense looked all season (including the Patriots game).

You did realize that was a skeleton play book they were using that game, right? Matt Forte even admitted it.
