That's right gang, 20 days in a row.

That ties the record since we actually started tracking it (in November).

Goff's in for Mac

Does he make it to 21 on Monday?

I don't really care.

I'm going to be completely frank here.

People that want to rip Spiegs wanted to rip him from day 1.

When Mac brought him in, I had no idea who he was.

Have there been some rough patches and bad shows? Yes.

Has he gotten better? I say yes.

Are there things he could improve on? I say yes to this as well

He's still a better listen than North.

I like The Score because it's far less sterile than ESPN radio is. I would listen to whomever they put in this slot over Swaddle because of that.

I listened to Hamp and Holmes from day 1 of that crapass show...and this is far better.

What I really like about this show is that they make it sound like they are enjoying themselves. That is cool.

If you don't like it, don't fucking listen.

It seems like Spiegel never had a shot here, from Day 1. That is unfortunate.

I like Spiegs. I find him user friendly.

I don't think Speigel sucks, but he's nothing special either.

He's just there.

He has been much better as of late, especially now that he is at work almost every day. The interview with the roast heckler was bad though. He has a chance to score more points with the upcoming baseball season. Hopefully he is present for hit and run unlike last year. I look forward to having some in depth MLB and Cubs talk as opposed to the WSOX dominated talk from everyone else.

Ill agree with that

He's just not as good with Mac as Jurko or even Harry.

Harry is terrible independently but he brought out the best in Mac.

I agree. Was going Pandora route today due to my frustration wtih the Cutler obsession and it's effect on the human brain but with Goff in I'm in.
Might even send a text. Goff doesn't hate me as much as Mac does.

Fair enough

B and B is the only thing going right now.

Good show, but Terry can stay home (off the air) permanently and the show would improve tremendously.

Matt has gotten much better to me. He has independent thoughts and calls Mac on some of his crap. The flight miles have helped the show, I also think it is cool of Mac to give Matt equal time to talk even though it's "The Danny Mac" show.

Absolutely correct. Terry is really dead weight and Bernsie/Producers carry him through most shows, it's pretty sad. It gets even worse when Terry is in his basement doing the show and Bernsie is talking over him and taking callers while he is still talking. I rolled my eyes every time Terry was going on and on about "dumb people" attacking Cutler and saying they didn't have a thought or when he said it was hard keeping up with Ditka because he was a dumbass and talked himself in circles...that has been Terry for the last several years.

Anyways, Spiegs has improved a lot in his delivery as well as his rapport with Mac. Is the show a 9/10 or an 8/10 now, no. But it is an above average show with streaks of greatness and I still don't think that Speigs meshes that well with Mac. I enjoy the hell out of Speigs and Goff, I think that would be a solid show on its own.

Most of the time I think posters rip MeatyMeatPants because they want to get a rise out of him or to try and get the "mysterious poster" to come on and defend him. Or they just like being jerks or just like to criticize. Hell, I do it with B&B all the time.

Oh well.

Stop drinking. Mac has the laziest show on radio, with or without Spiegel.

It happened just the other day, it is one of the ways you can tell that Terry isn't in "da house". Stilted conversation and when Terry does his usual stammering, stuttering and whatever Bernsie will just say "And we have Brian in Lakeview on the Score" over Terry where usually if they were in studio that wouldn't happen. It happened a bunch of times. Bernsie doesn't do it on purpose, but it is noticeable.
