They're releasing a new album sometime around then. I'm seeing them at the Double Door in March or April, can't remember the date of the show.

Due to my proximity, I think I'm heading to the Nellies show...if I can remember when the time comes.

Megan is by far my favorite Smoking Popes song.

Bayside did a live acoustic cover of it, with Josh Caterer. It dominates.

That cover sucks. If Josh Caterer wasn't such a huge Jesus freak now, he would've kicked that entire bands ass

Come on, Mac. Your column today about the Hawks is really short-sighted. You can't possibly believe that Patrick Sharp isn't part of the blame for what's happened this year. He's a -11 on the year. Guess where that ranks on the team? Dead last. In fact, other than worthless Kopecky, who's a -10, the next worst on the team is Kaner at -5.

A large part of our struggles this year comes from the amount of shots we are giving up and our decreased time of puck production. Sharp's defensive indifference is definitely part of that.

They were okay. Pretty much an Incubus ripoff. I think I saw them open for different bands three times in 2002-ish.

Each day it's harder to pretend.
That your eyes aren't lying as much as your mouth did.

I'd grab your head by your hair and I'd hack it off.
And put it on display at the front of the yard
on a stick that's decorated with a little pink bow
and a sign that says "Her friends and family should have taught her more about love."

Is this a Zack Attack song?

Smoking Popes are playing in Joliet too. It's probably their new "world tour".

Helmet is coming to the same place in Joliet also if anyone is interested....
