Some guy on craigslist would fix it for about $15.You seem much too familiar with the prices men charge for services on craigslist. Just an observation. I especially like the pictures on the home page. One is of a brick house taken from about 3/4 of a mile away, and the other is a door with a brick archway. Nothing shows off his painting better than a brick house and a wooden door with a brick frame |

I'm painting Mac's house and I'm gonna call in so everybody knows!!! He's at the bar right now getting high fives and free drinks. Fucking loser!!1 I got a 20 that says he sniffed Mac's recliner and danced around in Mac's underwear on his lunch break. Another 20 that Mac's basement looks like crap. |

If any guy I hired was calling into a radio show, I would have one of my two annual meltdowns |

I can see the conversation that started it all: Mac - 'So Brand, my wife is out of town all next week, do you have any plans?' Brand - 'No Mac, I am free all week!!' Mac - 'Good, then why dont you come over and paint my basement, and when you are finished you can join me an Mrs Smails at the Yacht Club' |

Because it's kind of unprofessional and he might want you to move on to the next job. If some fug ass dude were painting my basement and stopped to call a radio show I'd be saying seriously wtf I hired you to paint not stand around whacking off and calling into radio shows. Did mac put you thru right away? Part of the special Steve brand? You go to his neighborhood bar and have people buy drinks for you? Tell them about your softball championships? |

When I'm on a job-site, I don't stop working, just because I call into a show. I wear a headset, so as to be able to talk on the phone while working. It's not a hinderance to getting any work done. I got the job done promptly and without any delay. If I were halting work on the job to make phone calls...yes, that would be unprofessional. That just wasn't the case and never is. Yes, the call was taken without delay and the whole "Fred, from Dyer, Ind." thing was an inside joke between Dan and I, though Dan did somewhat explain it to the listening audience. Dan was the one who mentioned me working there. I had no intention of mentioning it. I called in to talk about the Cubs. |

Hasn't Steve spent several threads telling us how he doesn't actually "paint" - he is more of a CEO of the company - he would never stoop so low as to actually get paint on his hands..... |

Steve, is misspelling many words on your website, such as "extimate", also ignorant, or is just making fun of it ignorant? |

Wearing a drive-thru headset while trying to paint is just as unprofessional as stopping the job to make a call. Elmhurst Steve wrote: This board is really filled with people that are petty and ignorant, but I didn't expect you to join those ranks. People in glass houses shouldn't practice what they preach.....or something. |
