Seeing as though someone's guy has this as the new pairing, I suppose this is day one. Let's not compare Spiegs to Wally Pipp, because that ended badly for Lou Gerhig...and most of us like Goff. They're in the desert. Mac will talk about golf, which is racist. He will brag about warm weather, wich will piss some people off. Goff will talk about the Bulls, which Mac doesn't really understand. Mac will probably talk about hockey, there is a game tonight against the mighty Florida Panthers after all. Baseball discussion with an almost guaranteed sack sucking call from Elmhurst Steve (RIP Elmhurst Shreve). Over/Under on Mac references to Spiegs' throat ailment: 9.5 |

He's taken the high road with Harry a few times when it comes to how he is off the air. Though, I believe Mac has had issues with the bottle to some extent himself so maybe he feels like he would be a hypocrite if he bashed Harry now? |

Unless Mac really has pull at the station I can not see them keeping Spiegs on with a very good Goff sitting in the wings. Everybody praises him and seems to believe in him. He also seems to be something Matt is not a team player and dedicated to the station. Also it is bullshit he can not work due to throat issues yet he is doing a gig Friday. |
