The show is dead folks. The return of Mike "Man of the Fans" Murphy was the final star to align in the overstuffed sports talk radio sky. If Murph gets his own morning show than it's curtains for Mac and he will be forced to slink back to his "palatial estate" and make videos with Chet and Nort'. The Radio universe will have come full circle as the prophecy foretold. On the Docket: Box score analysis of sports. Weezing Speigs trying to save the show Old music references for the hip teens Vague and veiled references about stuff that is being talked about on the board in an attempt to drum up interest. I Predict! Another solid, if half-hearted effort by the boys. Gotta do better if you want that afternoon gig, Mac! |

I've really tried to give the show a chance this week, but there just hasn't been much of anything that would even qualify as interesting. Which is crazy because I did enjoy listening to Mac when he returned. |

You have a lazy host doing the same stuff everyday with no real preparation, just winging it. Why really listen? The lack of interest turns into lack of ratings quickly. Would anyone here give Mac a big longterm contract if you were running the station? |

I think the problem with Spiegel is that he tries too hard to act just like Mac. Also, his reliance on the "we're happy for ya" drop has gotten very, very old. |
