Wayne Gretzky Keep it. Fucking soft ass, cherry picking, overrated, candy ass. Mario Lemieux was better, even with a bad back and cancer. |

Does Gretzky have more than one son or is the same douchebag kid that played high school quarterback with Montana's douchebag kid? |

I know he has all the records. He has them because he didn't play defense. Fuck him. |

Must have got those while just coming onto the ice as the last 10 seconds of the penalty were expiring and Coffey hit him with a stretch pass ( old 2 line pass rules still applying mind you) and he scored on breakaways. |

He's by far the clear cut greatest in his sport. Much more so than Jordan is in his. |

OK I respect his ability to plant his ass at the blue line during an even strength attack from the other team, and be 2 steps ahead of the defense when Coffey cleard the puck. I still hate him. |

Enjoyed Meatpants explanation of how the Stones created the distorted sound for the Jumpin Jack Flash. I didn't know that. It was more interesting than the rehashed Heat talk. |

Does "3 years starting in the middle of this month" equal a contract announcement? |

Spiegs will occasionally say something interesting about music. Mac will occasionally deliver an interesting rant on workplace issues/current or former co-workers. Other than that, the show is a wasteland of information, entertainment and creativity. The problem with the board's collective fantasy about meatpants' imminent replacement is that Mac would remain after meat is jettisoned. |

Well then, you've gotta have respect for the points record then, because even if he never scored a goal, he's got more assists than anyone else has goals and assists COMBINED. |

Mac is a huge part of the problem with this show. |

I listened through all. Each time I try to stay engaged, but just can't do it. Unless there is a good guest, or one of these little snippets of information, the show has been as you say: a wasteland of information, entertainment and creativity. I expect no change in hosts. Maybe a Goff add. This is what we will have come July 1st and beyond. Hopefully they can create a better show the second half of this year. I am not a big fan of the alternative. |

I don't mind the show probably as I have listened to Mac for so many years it has sort of sneaked into the fabric of my day. Spiegs is ok but I would like him to improve and stop friggin saying "ya know". I like Goff alot but a three man show may be worse. |

you can hate a guy and still respect him. i hated deion sanders throughout his career but i'd never say he's overrated because he wasn't. he was an amazing athlete and he backed up his trash talking. he just happened to play for 2 of the teams i loathe most in any sport. the falcons and the cowboys. saying gretzky is overrated...basically that's like saying "the honeymooners" is overrated. |

Zack...Deion couldn't tackle...overrated As far as Gretzky is concerned. I respect his ability to pass the puck. I don't respect anything else about his game. The Honeymooners is just boring. |

Just because something is considered classic, that doesn't mean that someone can't think it sucks. I'm gonna have a little bit of a "Boyd" moment on this one. Fuck man, I'm going to go ahead and title this list: THE LIST OF OLD THINGS THAT BOYD THINKS SUCK The Beatles The Honeymooners I Love Lucy The 1969 Cubs Wrigley Field Citizen Kane Easy Rider Disco It's a Wonderful Life The Wizard of Oz (only applicable when sober) Gone with the Wind Soldier Field (pre and post renovation) Bob Pulford Jefferson Airplane Barney Miller Carol Channing UFO (the band) Dragnet Mission Impossible The Jetsons |
