He's taking a few weeks off, but will be back at the end of July, as announced this morning. To save time for everyone involved: Gloop, SID, et al wrote: Finally getting the gender reassignment surgery, huh? UMN wrote: Sitting out until they fire Spiegel? Scorehead wrote: Sitting out in protest until they pair him back up with Terry? Only thing missing is rehiring Murph, North, and Jiggs and sending Bernstein back out in the field, and it will be like 1998 again. Then I will be pleased. Pretty much the rest of us wrote: Does this mean more Goff? Hawkey talk Sox/Rockies preview Coob/Giants preview |

Obviously saj1632 was right and his essay has shook the SCORE and its employees down to its very foundation. |

Thats just grand that Mac is out....but get back to me when find out the days Meat will be off. Surely the cover band is becoming Lee Greenwood somewhere for the Independence Day festivities. |

That's the proper way to take vacation. This is a terrible time for sports as it is. |

I read that Lee Greenwood is playing somewhere in the NW suburbs for the 4th of July weekend. I honestly thought he was dead. |

He's talking about hockey again. Hopefully the awful and stupid Loho doesn't fill in for him. That would mean a missed opportunity for Maya Gavin/a drunk homeless and whoever else that can talk about acdc/the stones and hockey. |

Monday, Tuesday off, Wed, Th, Fri, plus back to back weekends, that's a solid 9 days, to go an extra week after that, sure is confident about the ratings, the show and all things related. |

Naw, seeing as Beardown has reiterated a mysteriously-baleeted post that exposed Danny Mac as being the puppetmaster behind the scenes at the score (which says something, seeing as Beardown's usual conspiracy is that the station revolves around Dan Bernstein. If Bernsie is truly plotting to go national, then I can see Danny the Mack Daddy usurping control in a power vacuum) I'm thinking that he's got some Howard Stern paper, which means we can expect a lawsuit against CBS radio for unpaid contract bonuses any days now. The hot rumor in the wacky land of Sirius is that Howard's now going to be 3 days a week from here on out, and is set to work a whopping 6 days in July, and then 9 days in August. In fact, this likely means that Howard has less than 50 work days remaining this year and he'll collect a cool ~$50-70mil for his efforts... and the show is "better than ever." They're hitting homeruns at a pace that would make Adam Dunn look like "JP" So if Danny the Mack Daddy is putting his fashionably-shoed foot down and laying down the law at the station, if I were Spiegel I would go out of my way to resist taking boat rides way more than I usually do. |
