1. What did you identify as shortcomings of your show after the first year? What do you currently identify in the way of shortcomings?

2. How much contact do you have with Jurko these days? Do you suspect he regrets renewing at MVP? Would there have been a slot for him at SCR had he left MVP?

I've become a fan of Spiegs over the past 6 months or so. With both of you seemingly under new paper, any plans to change the name of the show to reflect him as well?

Why is DJ Nozar so angry...and is any of the stuff Beardown posted true?

How do you explain the continued existence of this board when you declared it to be dying over a year ago?

Is Stu-Gotz a pitcher or a catcher?

Now that he's been trained, will the show be renamed to reflect Craig Miller's involvement as well?

Not really a question, but your show (and all on the Score) should read more emails. I know I'd contribute more if that were the case.

I know its a big pain in the ass, but any word on an Autism golf outing in the future?

Was there any serious discussion of adding Goff to the DMS?

In all honesty, who has more pull at the station: you or Danny Bernstein?

Will the Score promotions staff get it's head out of it's ass and get an exclusive screening of Moneyball for listeners? That could be one hell of a party if the Score rented out the Vic and did a brew and view double feature of Big Fan and Moneyball. You could have Score hosts give their thoughts on Big Fan in between screenings and Bernstine simulate a three way with Bean and Bill James after Moneyball.

Mackey:

Enough air miles already. Give me a reason why fatpants is still on the air other than he'll accept a super low wage.

Do you have no ambition to ever be big time again? Are you happy mailing it in for recession contracts doing middays?

1. Do you think that poster who claimed to be a former employee was legit? If so, is it the guy that Tall Midget suggested?

2. Were any of the claims in his post true? Were the major lineup changes that he suggested ever discussed and/or seriously considered?

3. Is it true that Bernstein might do a national radio show? If that happened, would you then do afternoons with Boers?

4. Is what was posted by the, alleged, former Score "employee" hinging on what Bernstein might do? If he leaves might what he suggested actually happen? Or was it all BS and doesn't hinge on anything?

5. Was Krazy Ivan's info that Goff was in secret discussions to join your show true? If so, why did that not happen?

6. How long is the deal? Did Spiegel get the exact same years as you?

7. Are you confident that M&H and B&B will be resigned. Will this current lineup be around for years to come in your opinion?

Mac, where do you see sportsradio in Chicago 5 years from now? Will there be 2 stations all-sports stations? Do you see guys like Jurko, Bernsie, Terry, etc to be around for a while?

Fine. I'll rephrase it. Mac, was the following May 7th report by CSFMB's Krazy Ivan true? If so, why did it not happen?

Krazy Ivan wrote:
My guy tells me that there are serious talks going on at SCR to have Jason Goff replace Matt Spiegel as co-host of the Danny Mac Show. Stay tuned...

(That's the actual quote. Don't think it's different than what I asked.)

Explain Boers to me. He seems disinterested on the radio. I get the sense that he isn't really a sports fan (anymore) because there are so many games that he doesn't watch. I also want to know if the "my guy" thing is just a bit. It is my opinion that Boers is really funny but that his talent doesn't come through on the radio with his bitter old man act who hates most things in this world. And that is a shame.

Did DJ Nozar apply for a producer's position on your show? Did you rebuff him? If so, why?

Do you remain as enthusiastic about Meatpants as you were when you first announced your partnership with him? While you are evidently pleased with the ratings for your show, are you equally pleased with Spiegel's development (or lack thereof) over the past two years? In your view, how has his performance improved or deteriorated? Please cite specific examples to substantiate your opinion.

Hypothetical situation: Spiegel is locked alone in a room for 15 minutes without food and dies of starvation. You are thus left without a radio partner and must find a replacement. If you could choose anyone currently working in Chicago sports radio as your new co-host, who would you select? Why?

 You really think it would take 15 mins?

Perhaps you can teach him your apple a day diet plan?

Who was the guy on MJH who would hit the hockey horn anytime hockey was being discussed for more than 10 seconds? I'm guessing it was Finfer...

despite stinkfinger's objections, I actually don't mind Rozner's thoughts for the most part... in fact, he might be my favorite host this side of hub...

I couldn't remember if it was you or Stink that despises Rozner.

Rozner and Rosenbloom would make an interesting show.
