That's right gang, starting on Tuesday, the debut of the Matt Spiegel and friends variety 4 hours. Tributosauraous "becomes" the Starland Vocal Band, and they will play nothing but parody songs set to Afternoon Delight. Spieg's first guest will be Dr Joyce Brothers, and Jack Hanna will drop by with some of his friends from the San Diego Zoo.

Sox win

Maybe Mac can offend Jim Hendry again

I want to say they were broadcasting from Murphy's back in 09 (the day that they had to play a make up game at Wrigley at the beginning of September). If I remember correctly, Hendry came over and left after 5 minutes because he didn't like the line of questioning that was taking place.

Correct!

Plus Hendry listens to the Score all day and he hears everything said about him, when he is not giving no trade clauses.

Why do they think they've found gold with a fucking song about a shitty ballplayer?

It's their thing.

To be honest, the parody songs seem to be a way to justify the existence of Spiegel on the show. It's the #1 thing he brings to it.

I like his baseball talk. It was brought up by someone recently that the entire reason parody songs worked on MJH is because they are all awful vocalists.

It could've been worse...Remember when Mac was up the dial and they did the "John Karanka" (sp?) song?

I wish Joe Cowley was in the car with Ryan Dunn. I wanted to burst into flames after listening to that in the car earlier.

I realize I'm just one person, but my time spent listening to the show is down about 90%.

I'm up in Canada this week.

Guess who I heard on Thunder Bay sportsradio pounding his chest that he's gonna make CBC's Cathy Alex his personal bitch?

That's right... Mackey has taken his act North of the Border.

Claude from Cottage should be very happy.

Canada is a good place for him. Hoepfully, he stays there.

Yeah, I think there was a Willie Wonka reference made in that lil diddy. I thought that was one of Harry's though...

It still sucked.

Just like all of them

They're not fun

They're not entertaining

They're groan inducing, and when played at full length (or multiple times in a day) they're PTFB material.
