Damn- At that time I was hoping they would discuss the hotdog eating contest or Adam Dunn and Juan Pierre.

Oddly enough, according to ESPN, Juan Pierre would be a better candidate to win a hot dog eating contest than Adam Dunn. This was on the Sportscience feature yesterday morning. The reasoning is that Dunn's belly fat will keep his stomach from being able to expand to a larger capacity. Pierre not having as much belly fat has more space for his stomach to expand. That's why the "professional" eating contest guys are all fairly skinny.

i miss inspiring discussion like this when i make the decision to tune to larry holme's station. maybe after hearing something like that i would have been able to rescue a cat from a tree or find a cure for syphilis, but i always choose 670 so ill probably end up a homeless drunk with syphilis, on top of the fact that i heard larrys asinine thoughts.

You wouldn't have heard it on ESPN radio either.

It was on SportsCenter yesterday morning.

Mac's away until July 25th. Meanwhile, I think LoHo has a quick turnaround ahead of him. I believe he'll be doing middays with Spiegs taking a couple days off at the end of the week...You have been warned if that's indeed the case.

One would think that fatpants could actually give interesting commentary on competative eating. One of the few subjects he knows something about.

Are you referring to the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest that was on ESPN yesterday?

There's a place at Harlem-Irving Plaza near my house called Auntie Anne's. They sell a Nathan's Pretzel dog in addition to all the pretzel treats you can get.

I've often stopped for one after purchasing accessories at The Male Ego.
