Well, this should be the banner flying on the prop plane that Spiegs rents and has it flying over Dyer, IN!

I got maybe 10 mins of the Loho Infestation today and I am going to assume Lo runs a "Hater Wednesday" segment on his show that has now infected the mid morning mess. While running the segment, you got a ton of Lo "this is why I don't like you" click...so I PFTB

Earlier in the morning, Lo could not stop talking about Jay Z dieing and then him marrying Jay's wife? Becoming the childs black stepfather (In case you are not aware of how that works) and you could actually hear Spiegs trying to stop the entire conversation, not exactly a good show when one host is trying to stop the other from talking.

And this is why the Home and Office radio stay on 1000 until next week.

And this is why LoHo must work alone. You can't expect a co-host to realize brilliance while in its midst.

Who knows what radio gold was stifled by someone who probably only know Jay-Z from the alphabet? You gotta let a wild horse run.

I have TRIED to listen a few times while Mac is on vacation and found myself much happier listening to Waddle and Silvy (even called them twice) instead. Anyone that doesn't recognize (that includes you-Matt) that Mac is the straw that stirs the drink over there, is woefully dense. Danny Mac cannot return quickly enough. I hope he returns with great energy and passion as Chicago sports radio is in need of some. Fortunately for him, he will be returning just after the NFL lock-out has ended and the free agency craze begins. Thus the interest level in whats happening in sports and activities surrounding football will be at a level not seen in quite a while. Should make for great radio...

I've been enjoying Laurence and Meatpants. Hater Wednesday was top notch yesterday.

I have been practically living in my car traveling a lot in remote areas where the radio station choices are either Country, Religious, or WSCR, which blows a signal nearly as strong as WGN around the Midwest. Thus, I have been listening to the Score frequently in the last week. I have enjoyed Loho & Meatpants! It is no secret that I think Spiegs is a horrible sports radio guy & even worse as Macs partner. The day this team was announced I said that Mac & Spiegs is a bad fit & I think that has been proven to be the case. As for Mac, I used to be a big fan of his, but since he has returned to the Score, the more I listen to him the less I enjoy him. Spiegs is better without Mac, & the same can be said in reverse for Mac. Both are better with other partners. The same goes for B&B, but that's another thread.
Its a shame that Mitch doesn't have the balls to make bold & risky changes to the Score lineup & instead chooses to play it safe & guard the miniscule lead WSCR has over WMVP in the ratings.

I picked a good three weeks to be away from Chicago sports radio!

Let the NFL lockout end so we have something to look forward to, besides Mac's inevitable return to regale us in fishing stories, bonding time, windshield splattered with ginormous bugs and how Canadians are inferior to Americans.

He can keep his narrow-minded movie reviews though...

You know I think you may have something here that no one else sees. Maybe instead of calling it "Spiegs and whoever shows up" show they should have Danny Mac somewhere in the title. If they take your advice maybe they can win their timeslot and Mac can really start his radio career.

I like Mac, Holmes and Spiegel. Mac is just a classic radio presence, Spiegel has a pretty decent ESPNlike delivery, and Holmes gives us the view of the fan on the street.

That's my take anyways.

I can handle myself. I am a fat dickhead, but not a pushover.
Holmes has a great angle on covering the Bears too. Much better than Zaydman.

When LoHo stated: The Barney Miller theme song is baaaadddd asss,I threw up in my mouth a little. I have defended LoHo in the past, but I can see how if I listened to him more than my actual 12 minute drive time like I did today, how he can be "Captain PTFB"

Never watched Barney Miller, Taxi, or M.A.S.H.

Those shows (mostly their re-runs) got in the way of Dukes of Hazzard, The Incredible Hulk, Knight Rider, and Courtship of Eddie's Father.

I thought both Taxi & MASH sucked.

Regrettably, I never watched one episode of the Bob Newhart show, either.

He seems like a pretty funny guy.

If you can find it-Bob Newhart did stand-up years ago and was REALLY funny. The driving instructor-is outstanding.

Steve,

I know that you painted Macs house & all & thats cool...but Mac has lost his fastball. I think one of the reasons that Mac wants Meatpants as his partner is that Meat can put a lot more effort into the show that Mac does, what with his parody crap & some of the other nonsense. I have grown tired of Macs act. Mac & Boers together again would be great though.

Thats YOUR take on it. I don't feel that way. I think at times the sports landscape becomes dull and it gets tough to make the show as lively and interesting as we all would like. But when the teams are bad (like now) it's beyond their control. Interest wanes (listeners and radio hosts alike) and it's tough to pretend to care much about Baseball teams that stink. I predict (and I'm saying it like I mean it-cause I do) that you will bear witness to one hell of a show upon Mac's return. With all that will be happening in Football, he's gonna be excited and energized and at the top of his game.

Wishful thinking. Mac hasn't had a "hell of a show" in years.

Jesus - just get on your knees, open your mouth and invite Mac to stick his cock in it already. Or do you prefer it in the ass? I know you are a Danny Mac ALSer, but "bear witness"...laying it on a little thick aren't you?

Hopefully Mac recharged his batteries while away. His energy level hit an all time low about a month ago. I'm not saying he needs to blow a bugle and recite manifestos from a yellow pad, but don't go missing like Hawk in the middle of a 9-1 Twins victory over the Sox. Put down the "Best of Pete North" DVD and let's talk Bear's pigskin. Get a hand in, fellas.

P.S. I liked the Spiegs and Larry show. I wish that show existed during Hawks season so I wouldn't have to endure hourly Pat Foley interviews.
