I don't understand how someone hasn't been very publicly fired for Family Night at Soldier. Unbelievable.

Who are they going to fire? The park district takes care of the field. The guys in charge of the team are all idiots anyway. It's not the coaching staff's fault. Should someone have taken a walkthrough earlier in the day? Yes, but that's not important right now.

Totally. This being the first time the field conditions at Solider have been a story.

Are you serious? Its a giant fuck you to the loyal fanbase. Nothing to do with the season, but a GIANT dick move.

To answer Boyd's question, whoever was largely in charge of Family night (someone had to be the person setting it all up) should be fired.

Douchebag has been living up to his name with regularity as of late.

If there is a way to look bad in most any situation, Bear management has an uncanny ability to find it.

I actually blame U2 for this. It's probably their fault that the field is as fucked up as it is right now.

Yeah or the soccer games.

Either way, not America's problem!

But seriously, whoever decided to check the field 2 hours before practice, should have probably done it 2 days before.

They play the cheesy "Mr. Cowley" song, and he's not there...briefly.

That would then be the best Cowley segment ever.

Where's the classic Pat Summerall soundbite Mac used to play on the other station? It would only sound appropriate. You know..."Something happened..."

The Brand thinks Tyler Colvin and Carlos Marmol are positives that came from the recent Cubs winning streak.

Don't tell "Mully & Hanley". Besides Dan Patrick, "M & H" get everybody on...or so it seems.
