the talk was regarding beer consumption in college and LoHo was questioning whether or not the guy with the wall of empty beer bottles was a bad guy who you would want to hang out with.

Mac replied "and you're the guy bringing in two boxes of comic books so how do you think he felt about you".

Laurence is most definitely best with certain co-hosts, though I find him a tough pill to swallow with some others (like Dan Bernstein) and by himself.

today I had to choose between stories of Mac's son and a leaf blower, followed by fagasy football talk...or on AM1000 Silvy & Waddle had a reporter from Bears practice talking about Urlacher being back at practice and then Charles Barkley on all sorts of topics always telling it like it is. AM1000 > AM670 during my lunch hour.

Maybe got 20% of the show today, but noticed the difference when Larry sits in with Mac? Never a "Oh yeah man, 20 pieces of Bazooka and that's an awesome day" or "The Blue Avenger was awesome, he could kick some ass...want me to tell you about it,,,he was so cool." or "Let's have a contest, first person to text me the best cooking show that can be a comic book! Yeah, we will find something to give them! .....this will be some awesome, I can't wait to ask Mitch to have every show play it tomorrow!" None of the shit the makes Larry a terrible solo host and brings down shows such as BB . He never even tries to go super geeky cool around Mac!

Oh...it was today alright. I've heard him do it before but Goff was also in and its not a bad off topic segment with him but when Larry does it solo its just not quite the same.

there was a crap today that called out bernstein for shitting all over fantasy football yet being down with the recent laurence holmes DC universe superhero football team. i have no idea why the score would want that shit to be there, short of some marketing-major's brilliant idea to toss this crap into the mix with the infinitesimal hopes of bringing in some of the highly coveted nerd demographic.
