8 Track Friday

Ok. We get it. You don't think there's any music better than the crap from the 70's. BTO on my radio for a small stretch, I can tolerate. The, "Slappa Da Bass" line, is dumb. "I Love You Man" is not a good movie. The yapping over the mediocre song is a little much, too. What's coming up next, a little UFO? Maybe some Foghat? How about a little Molly Hatchet? Good Christ, Meat and Finfer both appear to have decent taste in music...maybe we should be deferring to them in regards to what should be played.

That is all.

There's plenty of great music from the 70's. The bands you listed above are good examples of what I would use to torture captured terrorists.

I love UFO and I think I Love You Man is one of the most overrated comedies of the past 10 years. But I don't really listen to Mac and Meat because of Meat so it doesn't really matter. Both of the 9 am shows in this town suffer from one host that brings the whole enterprise down too far for it to be enjoyable.

I completely agree. It just seems that Mac loves to highlight the horseshit bands while ignoring good music.
