I hear what you are saying, but come on. Plenty of us idiots to have to overcome.

Laurence being bad is sort of a board meme at this point. I think most people don't give him a fair shake...

It's Ivan's way of saying he is taking a time off from the board.

It's hard not to be outraged by the activities of both but many Score hosts are taking a wait and see approach with Ventura. Why? It's a bad hire. He may work out, but that would simply be blind luck.

Remember, I only said "may be". I'm not there yet. It may take an attack on the shitty, our of shape play of Lance Briggs post contract demand to turn me completely.

I have frequently said that there is no reason to listen to the Score when JHood is broadcasting. I stand by that statement.

So Kenny pulled his name out of a hat now? Come on....I'm sure kenny had ventura in mind for this job when he was brought aboard in June. I assume that ventura's philosophies concerning Baseball are in line with kenny and that was a substancial factor in his hiring. It may turn out to have been a poor choice, but chances are the Sox will be in a rebuilding mode in the next few years and NO manager would contend with the group they will be putting together anyway.

Back to Lawrence....He knows his sports and can speak intelligently on them. But when he gets off on some stupid tangent away from sports, he inspires one to PTFB

That's unfair. If Ventura is a managerial savant who didn't need to spend 3 years riding buses in the minors in order to be ready then it's a great hire by Kenny. If he looks unprepared and foolish out there it's a bad hire.

A good hire is one who does his job well. A bad hire is one who does his job bad.

Well, based on his media appearances thus far, I'd say that if he aspires to be an idiot savant, he's accomplished about 50% of his goal.
