On the Verne interview, he talks about the deal CBS had to do with ESPN, then brings up the Michigan-Alabama game, saying they probably wouldn't carry it, Verne that games on Labor Day weekend, so you wouldn't carry it anyway. For Spiegel, I will give it to him for bringing it up at the end about wondering what CBS gave to ESPN and draft order for the SEC games. CBS which always got the first pick, now with 2nd who knows who they could be left with, of course Verne did say that Alabama at LSU will be a night game on CBS next season. |
