What a moronic statement. The Super Bowl is one game. Conn Smythe is awarded to the MVP of the NHL PLAYOFFS!

Dan was detailing how a roadie was required to blow cocain into Stevie Nicks' ass with a straw. The boys were detailing that Stevie was hot back in the day so the task might not have been all that unpleasant. Finji was disgusted at the thought of being anywhere near that part of the body. Mac and Speigs didn't agree.

Corey Perry is almost too offensive minded to be the best all around player, same with Ovechkin, but he's gotten much better with the "C". For all around, I'd look at someone like Iginla and Datsyuk from a few years ago, or someone like Kopitar, and even Toews and Hossa, but they just don't compare to Crosby.

Sans the concussion issue, no I don't think that. I wouldn't say that he is miles better in PK'ing and in the faceoff circle, but he is better. But Crosby is still damn decent in both of those areas, especially at faceoffs. And he is very responsible in his own end, and though he does not share Toews' tenacity, Crosby is a bit more physical than Toews. If Toews continues this offensive firepower display throughout the year, I will concede the argument, and will gladly put the two together. But his offensive inconsistency is too damning to be lumped with Crosby(who has had more assists in a season than Toews had points). He disappears for weeks at a time, which is ok considering he's only 22. He'll get there eventually. But right now, I don't even think he's the best all around player on the Hawks, I would argue that Hossa's offensive and defensive skills are second to very few, but Christ, if he only had Toews' will power and commitment. I feel pretty confident in what I believe Toews to be, and what Crosby still is. And I just don't think it is even close.
