Kind of an odd grouping with these three, two of whom I've never heard host a full show before. I'll be interested to hear Bowen's thoughts about things other than football. I won't be interested in anything Cowley has to say, but I like Goff and Bowen so I'll listen.

It took Cowley 53 minutes to get his first Kenny shot in.

He must be hungover, or he's just slipping.

I get the feeling that Cowley would like to follow the career path of guys like Skip Bayless and Jay Mariotti (minus the domestic battery) in that he doesn't care if he sounds like a buffoon, he eventually just wants to be on TV.

Bowen sounds more relaxed than he does during his appearances with B&B and more of his personality is starting to come out. Bernsie not being there trying to ascribe great importance to everything he says probably helps, too.

Good first hour.

I am a huge fan of Goff, but dude is just not made for a 3 man show. He talks way too much and the other guys become disinterested which just makes things even worse.

Goff needs to relax and let others talk. His voice doesn't need to be heard at all times.

If he's not talking that means Cowley is able to do so .... and nobody wants that.

This sounds like a horrible trainwreck to me.

Almost makes me miss Barney and Fatpants.

I like that Bowen, a former player, disagrees with those old farts about that stupid body language shit.

Doug and OB have zero perspective and rely on bullshit tough-guy platitudes, and they pander to listeners and fans who do the same. I got no use for that.

Oh, and they don't know today's NFL either.

Cowley's Klan meeting line still has me cracking up...

I like Goff. I like Cowley (on the radio). I like Matt Bowen

The three together are ok. I think Goff and Cwley or Goff and Bowen would run more smoothly...

The "Why are they smiling on the sidelines?" stuff is bringing down what had been a good show up the this point. Remembering Mac making a fool out of himself years ago over Eric Kramer smiling on the sidelines during a loss? I think he was even talking about having one of those celebrity boxing matches at one point because he wanted to "fight" him.

The three man booth, be it on radio or TV, is always a bad idea to me because one guy is bound to feel left out at some point and try to force things. It never seems to flow well. Someone's toes are always getting stepped on at some point.

They are one weekend night per week for sixteen weeks. There are commercials that get more air time than them. The station is hardly building even its Bear coverage around them. It's a novelty act. You don't like the novelty. As I wrote in another thread, there are at least three other postgame shows for you to turn to.

No, I really don't listen. But when I hear the soundbytes from the show it gets my blood boiling and it reminds me all over again why I think they suck.
