Are they going to the Hawks vs. Rangers game this Thursday? Is this some sort of promotional thing?

Spiegs doesn't have to worry about any father of the year awards.

Last week out playing poker, now headed to NYC, a trip he doesn't have to make. He could stay back and do the shows from here. Way to be a father to a newborn baby!!!

What's the over/under on how long this marriage lasts?

Good point.

I bet he treats his Reuben better than he treats his Rubin.

They are going to the Blackhawks/Rangers' game Thursday in New York, BR. I don't know who's paying for them to see them continue to lose.

Thanks SHARK. It sounds like nothing is really planned for it. I was thinking about going so Spiegel could finally give me a piece of his mind but it seems like nothing is really going on.

The kid will never forgive him. Guessing a mother in law is coming in town?

There are some wives i have heard that allow their husbands to leave the nest after the birth of a kid.

Then there are some that cant go out until the kids turn 21.

Got friends in both camps.

Boilermaker, I think the Blackhawks' trip was planned ahead of time, but the guys didn't think the guys in the Indianhead sweaters would be struggling this badly away from United Center. The way things are going, Coach Q and his trademark mustache might not be long for this job if they don't start showing signs of life this week. This is the NHL, and with the exception of the Predators' Barry Trotz, there's no such thing as job security. Joel Quenneville should know that himself.

I also think Spiegel said his wife is going with him on this trip too, not sure if the kid is going.

The goof is taking his newborn on an unnecessary airplane ride, and taking him to a NHL Hockey game??

No doubt this child will be sick within 3-5 days. What a dumbass. Wife must not be too bright either.

Maybe he's just trying to find a way to get an extra half seat.

slow down there...a newborn needs exactly what from the father? playing poker and taking a 2 hour flight is grounds for a divorce?

What would really make this show intresting, since there in the Wfan studio's, if they got to interview Mike Francessa.

The reason, if Phil Simms came up, we know how Mac feels about him, but Francessa thinks he's the best analyst doing games and it's not even close.

Visitors to NYC inevitably bring back C. Lectularius in their luggage etc.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bed_bug

Do not take your luggage directly back into your home on return from a trip to NYC-.

Leave it in the garage or proceed to a laundromat, pick up several cans of bug bomb aerosol and quality hefty trash bags from Walgreen's etc and zap your empty luggage inside a hefty bag.

If possible, leave luggage that you bring back from NYC outside your home and give it multiple bug-bomb-inside-a-hefty-bag treatments over a couple of weeks
to a month.

Wash and dry-with-heat clothing multiple times as well.

I just wonder with Mac and Spiegs taking their wives and for 1 a kid, did they have to pay for them or did they get the company to pay for their trip out there too.
