This is the month they SHOULD be taking time off. Instead we, usually get the bench emptying during bowl season, which should be a high point for sports talkers if they cared about college football or the NFL beyond the Bears.

They should call it the "McNeil and/or Spiegel Show", much like 720 WGN Radio used to do with a radio show called "The Al and/or Ed Show". It was very rare back in the day when Al Lerner & Ed Curran, the show's hosts, were actually on together, and it seems that way now with Mac & Spiegs.

Exactly. I have said this numerous times. Spiegel is better with anyone other than Mac, Mac is better with anyone other than Spiegel, Boers is better with anyone other than Berns, & Berns is better with anyone other than Boers.
I have enjoyed the bench players at the Score getting additional air time recently.
