I think many people assume rehab is a strong possibilty.
I never got the impression that Mac was a huge drinker but his glee about coke discussions often raised a few red flags or at least hmmmmmm's.
The new trend in Hollywood is to blame recent injuries which led to painkiller abuse.
I respect people who address substance abuse issues and if this iis the case I wish him good luck.

thought it was the case that when Mac was in his prime, it was partially-fueld by liquor and yayo.
And that he cut out the coke a few years ago and then the liquor not long after due to health issues, esp gout.

So this sounds like it is either a strike or a suspension.

You are right. The conclusion of the OP is 100% wrong.

What makes it worse is that a couple of the assumptions (other than the conclusion) in the OP are wrong too. This may be the worst thread of 2012. Which is saying something considering all of the threads started by you-know-who last week.

If this was anything other than rehab, we would have heard about it by now. Especially when there are rehab rumors flying around. Contract issues & suspensions aren't usually kept a secret.

Spiegs said that Mac would be "out for a while with health & wellness issues", & he was very serious about it.
After that, some Score guys began spinning it differently.

Ok well then Spiegal, Boers, and Lin Brehmer are the biggest assholes on the planet. Because they were jokingly chiding him for contract type issues.
