...but it won't be next week and it won't be the week after that. Got no marriage issues, got no kid issues (at least none more than probably everyone else ever had), has not chosen to play for the other team (but if the signing bonus was right...I am saying he signs and holds a press conference!).

This entire thing has gone the way it always does. Completely out of hand.

The problem is we all get lumped into one group of insane people guessing that Mac tried to kill himself, is getting a divorce, is in rehab, etc.

I mean, I get it. We speculate and stuff. But this whole thing is just way too much. Mac will talk about it (most likely) when he gets back. It really isn't funny or fun at this point...

I just want to make sure I got this right:

Jokes about VFW electrical issues and watching food is bad and deletable, but speculation in a public forum about whether someone is a drug addict, alcoholic, or suicidal is perfectly fine.

Ryan Braun did have his first Spring Training hit for the Brewers for what it's worth. Anyway, Mac's supposed to be going to Ireland next week for the Jameson trip with Spiegs & the appropriately-nicknamed Drinky. Is Mac still going or is he tail lights?
